Let's play catch up....

Well since my last post. Courtney my oldest has gotten glasses yet again. Carolyn is having a blast in Indiana working out on the fair. Charlie has started fixing the truck. The rear end went out a couple months back and we have finally gotten one. We are hoping it will be up and running by the end of the weekend. Also my father has just had his complete shoulder replacement. They did the surgery on July 15, 2010. He is in the ICU under observation. Also I took the girls on a girls day out shopping trip on Wednesday July 14, 2010. They got alot of new cloths and almost all the school supplies for school. Monday, we will be going to school to get our school supplies list and lockers. I still have not heard about Carolyn's teaher or supplies for this coming year yet. I got a list of all teachers so I am buying everything from all list. I will be covered then.

Also since I am looking to buy a house. We found one not far from where we live. We are working on getting the down payment for it. Hopefully we will get it before someone else does. It will be nice to be buying a house instead of renting it. My mind is so scattered, so I am trying to remember everything I wanted to write. Since school is about to start my post will start getting to be about the adventures of our schooling soon. This year I have 2 in middle school. Lord help me!! LOL!!

My oldest is still going to be in band. She just loves music so much. She has practiced so much it has got me headaches everyday for the last week. But I look at is that she is doing what she loves so I got to deal with it.

Vicki on the other hand will not be in band. She did not keep her grades up this past year. So this year we will be working on that. She wants to get them pulled back up. So here goes late night studing.

Carolyn is so happy to finally be at the new school by herself with out her sisters. I can not say I blame her. All the teachers compare her to her sisters. She is just getting tired of it.

Me on the other hand I am looking to maybe go back to school for something. I am unsure. I am getting tired of sitting at home and cleaning all the time. But we will have to see how that goes too. Well I have rambled on enough for this post. Hope you have a Blessed Day!!

Looking to Buy a House

We went today to look at a house. It is a 3bedroom 1 bath house. It is kinda small, but it is cute. Charlie called the guy and talked to him about it. He told Charlie if he would come up with the $1,000.00 down and show him his pay check stubs. Then we could have the house. So now we are sitting trying to think of a way to come up with the money for it. Our payment is going to be the same we pay here in rent a month. So that is great. I don't got to budget for that. Just all I got to do is figure out the down payment.

My Trip to Mobile

Well me and my oldest daughter, Courtney went to Mobile Thursday. We was going to spend the weekend out of town to just get out of town for us time. We went to the Hobby Lobby while we was there. We got her some stickers for her notebooks this year. Also got me some new paintbrushes, but they did not put them in the bag. So we had to go back the next day to get them. Courtney wanted to go to the mall. So we went and she bought herself a bracelet and chocker. The bracelet is a pink color with peace signs. The chocker is black with bright pink stones on it. Then our next stop was Books a Million. I had to get the new Stephenie Meyer's book: the short secound life of bree tanner. (No, I spelled it that way, because that is how the title is actually spelled. This is also a first edition. I sat and read the whole book this weekend. It gives such a great look into the Eclipse movie that comes out this week. So Sunday me, Courtney, and Charlie hung out at the shop/office. He took a nap and I washed mine and Courtney's cloths so I was not bring home dirty laundry. LOL! We cook chicken breast last night for supper. Most of the guys who work with Charlie came back down last night. We went to bed kinda early last night due to leaving from down there this morning. Courtney and I loaded the last of our stuff into the car this morning. We filled up the car and headed out about 8AM. We stopped off at a Hardee's and got some breakfast. When we got home and stepped out of the car, I remembered that my mom had the keys to my house. So we had to load up and head over there. We got my keys and headed home. About 2PM we headed back over to get Vicki. She had stayed with my mom while we went down. He had a Great Trip and Hope everyone was SAFE this past weekend. Have a great Night!!

Our PCB Trip to Alvin's Island

Well we left Saturday, June 19, 2010. It was 6:45 AM when we got in the truck. We stopped at my mother's house to drop off my phone. Then we went by Hardee's and got breakfast. Then off we was to PCB. When we got down to PCB. We stopped by Alvin's Island. I took some pictures of the gators. We just had so much fun there. We was trying to spend some time before my parents got there.

Rush, Rush, Rush!!!

Well the count down has begun. My trip is this Saturday. Yep, only 3 days til I head to the beach. Tomorrow is going to be a last minute get what I need day. I will be hitting the road around 7:00AM, that morning. We will be checking into the hotel and going to ShipWreck Island. I have not been there since I was a kid. I always loved it there. Water and Sun always a good combo. I so can not wait. We will be hunting somewhere to get all the kids a sand dollar with thier names on it. Also I wanted to go check out some different stores and just wonder around. We will be getting back on Sunday sometime. Then I will have to go pick up the girls. On Monday morning Charlie will head back to work. Me and the oldest, Courtney will be packing and getting ready for our trip. Our trip starts Wednesday. We are going to go stay in Mobile til either Sunday the 27th or Monday the 28th. We are unsure at this point in time. Vicki said she did not want to go. So she is going to go stay with her granny and pawpaw. I have not heard from Carolyn any this week yet, so I am going to call her later to see what is up. So the next two weeks is going to be busy, usy, busy. Hope you all stay safe and have a great weekend.
